Next to be insulted was Les Turner who was fund raising for the Royal British Legion, Ann suggested he looked as though he had fought in World War One and asked him if he had won any medals, when told no she was aghast that he had not even won in school races!!
David Lee representing the Scouts and Guides and Doug Knight, 50 Plus Club, were also maligned.

Nine contestants faced up to "Ann Robinson" who was in a particularly nasty mood on Saturday 16th April 2005.
Mollie Cooper represented the Calverton Miners Welfare
Ladies section, a previous winner she was asked by Ann
what the group did. Mollie explained that it was a ladies
group that drank tea, ate biscuits and played whist to
which Ann informed the room full of supporters that it
sounded sexist and it was in fact a group that did little
more than drink and gamble.
Calverton Swimming Club were ably represented by Neill Jones but he too had to do the Walk of Shame as Ann called after him a life belt can't save you now, you're well and truly sunk.
Finally after a brilliant evening Doug Knight was declared the winner he left with £200 for the 50 Plus Club while Mick Lloyd left with nothing.
Many thanks to all of the participants who took Ann's insults on the chin, George Keig for organising the event, Dave Musson who compered for the evening and to David Lee for donating the raffle prizes. I should also like to thank Ann Kirkham's friends and in particular her husband, Tim, who dished the dirt on her prior to the event. Well done everyone

Carole Nelson bravely stood against Ann and was unlucky on her answer to the question, What does ABV stand for on a bottle of alcohol? Carole knew A stood for alcohol and V for volume but she failed on the B for by!! The star of the night was Ann Kirkham representing the Calverton Colts football club, she bought a huge amount of support with her and was the strongest link when she was voted off controversially, by three "Brave" British Legion men Mick Lloyd, Doug Knight and Les Turner.
